I applied to eight schools out which I was waitlisted at three, accepted at two and rejected from three. The school’s I have been waitlisted at are highly ranked Liberal Arts colleges and were my top choices throughout the application process. As an international applicant, I did not submit my deposit at any of the other two schools I got accepted to, as I would prefer to attend college in my home country than going to either of those two colleges. May is a nerve wrecking time for me, but then, I can’t do anything about it, right?

And as I found out when pickpockets got my debit card in Poland some years ago, credit cards have much more robust fraud protection than debit cards: with a debit card, you can get your money back, but it's unavailable until the bank refunds it, whereas with credit cards, you can contest a fraudulent charge and you're not out of pocket. Since I travel overseas frequently, I use a regular old-fashioned ATM card, not a debit card. Even if the card is stolen, it's useless without the PIN.
I guess I just find it rather odd that someone with a professional and serious business site would want to discredited it with talk about god that’s all.

I’m a big fan of Tumblr and it has certainly lowered the barrier to entry for casual blogging and social engagement. I’ve always been a WordPress user and have recommended the platform for many others as a great way to create a blog or even a small business site. But, after experimenting with a new WordPress site vs. Tumblr, I have to admit that Rubel has a point.
