I understand codes more as they are expressed in game theory. I'm shamefully computer code illiterate.

It's kinda like paying it forward, except in reverse ;) I had a bit of money in paypal account, so why not.

Imagine a crook sells lots stuff he doesn't have and collects money via paypal. He then can spend the paypal balance on these gift card codes which cannot be charged back. By the time anyone has noticed they've been scammed the crook has got an inbox full of real value gift cards that cannot be taken away from them. As the crook hasn't actually sold anything it doesn't matter how much they pay for the gift cards. They just have to win those gift cards within maybe a 7 day window before their ebay/paypal account is closed/frozen.

That is great that your dad grew up here. Have you ever visited? I can try to upload the film to secure site.

    >security by obscurity... Is better than no security at all. Give your CC number out freely on the Internet why don't you. It's protect by hiding n your wallet only after all. Again it has nothing to do with egos, I have no idea why you keep bring this up, but to limit the damage to users. And it's only temporary while the fix is being coded up. If the fixes never come, ya knock yourself out.

Paypal likes to bend over backwards to enforce US laws. They may be checking to make sure that you are paying capital gains tax, and changing sales tax. (if applicable where you live). Check whether your paypal account is a paypal business account or paypal personal account. I wouldn't think they would be quite so nosy if it were a personal account. Otherwise it looks like your best bet is just to answer all their questions to the best of your ability.

I trust NY will implement similar procedures. It’s really just a matter of computer code and paperwork.
