How can I get a business credit card despite bad credit rating in Canada?

Help! I'm trying to start up a business and all I need is a $10k business credit card. But I have a bad credit rating and so far lenders insist I must have a strong co-signer. But I can't get anyone to do this for me (long story) any suggestions?

It means they not only accept but encourage people with bad credit ratings to apply. The reason they do this is because they like to charge outrageous interest rates to those with bad credit, knowing those people have little choice but to accept the outrageous interest rates because they can't get approved by regular banks & loan companies. It is a good risk for them because they make so much money from desperate people who have nowhere else to go.

The first step needed to overcome a bad credit is to snatch a copy and take a look into your own credit report because incorrect information on your credit report will only make matters worse if you already have a bad credit rating.

As a gratuitous credit-checker, you got a taste of yer own medicine. It is very easy, especially these days, for an honest man to get a bad credit rating, seeing that all credit ratings are essentially based on gossip.

As far as I know, there’s no strong co-relation between what one is wearing and the risks.

Unless you make good income and have been at your job for several years, you’re going to need a strong co-signer.

I feel like if you always pay your bills, you won’t have a bad credit rating. Never felt the need for a site to tell me my credit isn’t or is good! We all know if we have debt and pay bills….

I agree. It's a symptom. But I think there is a strong co-relation, and also, I begin to suspect that this has became a turn-off for girls, so when I meet new people, I often lie about what I do. Most of the time I just say I'm an designer or a consultant (which is not that far from the truth).
