how far past due does a monthly payment have to be before the card issuer will report it to the credit bureaus?
according to money savings expert, catalogues and credit cards do not make a lot of difference to credit rating, on your next bill you will recieve a default charge, normally around £12, i have missed payments on my credit card in the past when i have really struggled to find the money, yet they recently upped my credit limit, so if you really can't afford it dont worry, it also helps to ring your credit card company if you are having trouble, they will be suprisingly helpful in these difficult times.
i really hope i helped
Generally it is 30 days, but technically they can do so the first day after your due date. With all the changes going on, where new credit card regulations are concerned, those companies will be changing the way they do business on a "practically" daily basis.
Usually 30 days after it was due. Being ten or fifteen days late won't cause the creditor to report the late payment.
How late can you be on a credit card payment before being reported to the credit bureaus?

Simple answer, normally the bank will eventually close the account because it is not being used and will write off the outstanding balance. Am suprised that this has not already been done.
Will not affect your credit rating, because this will not be reported to the credit agencies by the bank.
However, what you could do, is ring the bank's contact centre, tell them that the account was meant to be closed some time ago and that you will not be paying any of the fees because of their mistake in not properly closing the account.
Credit ratings have become swords to hold over our heads. You do what is best for your budget and tune out the banker's advice.
Speaking of timelines, Todd is reported to be on the "slope" during August 2007. How did the governor get pregnant with a May due date with her husband on the slope? Hmm?
They are six months behind in getting the movie released on the due date of 29 June 2012 if they do it in 3D. Why is everyone forgetting an important aspect of this movie and very possibly a big sticking point?
This movie will relate to Bridemaids as Due Date does to Hangover.
I'm the mother of identical twin boys--each almost 8 pounds, born 3 days before their due date--it can happen!
No - a poor credit rating is a bad thing UNLESS you are not responsible with money. In that case, a poor credit rating will keep you from getting into trouble because nobody will give you a loan in the first place. The credit that is extended to the USA is nothing more than extra slack in the rope we are using to hang ourselves.
