How long do they have to take a credit card payment out of my bank account?

I made a payment to my credit card online, which I have done many times before. the payment shows on the credit card as processed. It has never been deducted from my bank account. this was in early August. I have since made another payment to them which shows as processed and has come out of my account. can this pop up on my account some time in the future?

Hang on to the online payment confirmation number, if you have one. Pull up the confirmation email and call the credit card company.
Take care of it ASAP. It can affect your credit and even result in late fees, although it may not be your fault.
I have never heard of this happening before. all my online payments always go through in 24-72 hours, not counting weekends and holidays of course. I often call my bank to check recent activity, and all of my 6 creditors have been faithfully taking my money on time.
:-(

That's not typical of an electronic payment, I imagine it's an error and will be corrected in due time. In the interim, contact your bank's customer service department and bring the matter to their attention.

I have discovered that I can speak honestly and boldly about the journey in some settings and not in others yet. Trig said it well in the comments: I need to write more honestly in my blog – in due time… I’m just on the edge of doing that a bit – with some courage and confidence and much fear and trembling. I want to step slowly and carefully into that arena because I want to be fair and balanced in what I say.

^ I do have to admit your right about how artists evolve. Nas will never make another Illmatic or Jay-Z always comes up with new stuff on his albums. I just think Eminem still is finding his footing again after Recovery, at the moment I don’t see that aforementioned substance in his rhymes but in due time he will come back and continue to dominate the game.
