I bought an ISA from Santander at the beginning of the tax year. Subsequently, I’ve used the transfer option on the web banking to move money from my current account (at HSBC) on 3 occasions, and it went through each time in about 5-6 days. It didn’t have to be “sent” from the current account.

Usually you will get whatever the current exchange rate at the time your transaction is posted in your Master Card account which is always changing throughout any given day.

That doesn't matter. What matters is you have a merchant agreement with Visa or Master Card - either follow the terms or get rid of the credit cards completely. If your business is ever reported you will have to stop that practice or they will remove the credit card machines.

We filed a complaint about USAA with The OTS (Office of Thrift Supervision in Washington DC. ) While I kept my USAA American Express Card, car insurance, checking and savings account current, I now had to pay my mother the money that USAA took for the IRS, as it was her working capital. This caused me not to pay on my USAA master card with a balance of 10K

Both kodak and master card look a little bit antiquated. They need more than simplification to get in the 21st century. Coca cola in the other hand looks tremendously avant garde.

So is this just a general term? Because I don't even own a check book. I just use my debit card and check on Mint or web banking to see any past payments.

Canadian banks LOVE their fees for everything... its painful when they ding me for using a non-BMO bank to withdrawl money ON TOP of that bank's fee. And over-debiting, when I can use my credit card for everything, with no penalty whatsoever.

I purchased two British Airways tickets Philadelphia/London and return via internet at home in Maryland.  Bank of America/Master Card bill arrived and tacked on was an $80 charge for foreign currency transaction fee.  A new scam.  After 35 years with this card I will drop it as soon as possible.  But imagine the implications for British Air and other foreign carriers.  Folks in the U.S. will naturally steer away from them when selecting flights.  I know I have already dropped them mentally from my options list for a later flight this year.

Not only is it a horrible design, but, as f yesterday, it is still in place - I logged in my Citibank account and saw the last 5 digits of my Credit Card Number in URL. Considering that the initial digits identify Master Card, CitiBank, etc. it would be a child's play to guess these.

Its not that hard to find a credit card that gives you money/points back. In Canada, there's the PC Financial Master Card. Gives you 1% back on all purchases which you can spend on groceries at Loblaws/No Frills/Supercenters. I'm sure there's many credit cards that offer 1% back for all purchases, some even offer 3% back at certain stores.
