On Nov 3rd 2006 I had a housing inspection done; I gave the guy my credit card information to process the payment and he gave me a receipt. As of today the payment has still not come out of my account. Is there a point when he will not be able to take the money from my account (like a check is void after 90 days)
I am not sure. but he can always send you a bill unless you move away.

The reason the store is taking longer is because that is the part that uses your credit card information. The delay is most likely because they want to make sure everyones info is going to be secure. I would prefer to have to wait a little while longer to make sure it is, instead of them rushing the store back online and leaving gaps in their security.
It's more likely that he's making a credit card payment. No one in the US saves.
