If you have bad credit, getting hold of a debit card or credit card to make purchases online or buy products from retail stores seems impossible. Most banks won't do business with people who have bad credit, so there's little hope of getting a bank card. Credit card companies see people with bad credit as a financial risk - what reason do they have to believe that you will actually pay up at the end of the month?
But credit and debit cards are important tools. it is difficult to get by these days without a piece of plastic to help you make purchases and pay bills. As fewer and fewer companies accept checks, your only option outside of a debit or credit card is to pay cash.
No credit check credit cards are more like debit cards in that your balance must be maintained in order to use the cards for purchases - you aren't going to be extended a line of credit that you pay off from month to month, but you will be able to use your card to make purchases both online and in retail stores.
Many of these prepaid debit cards carry fees for usage. Monthly maintenance fees differ from card to card, and it is common to find so called "hidden fees" only after activating the card, things like annual fees on top of monthly fees, activation fees, etc. before you decide to use a no credit check credit card or prepaid debit card, read all the fine print you can. Since there are many of these cards that don't come with extra fees, there's no reason to use a card that charges both an annual and a monthly fee.
Here are some of the more consumer friendly and most popular no credit check credit cards along with information about their fees.
- AccountNow Prepaid Visa Card - $0 monthly, $0 annual
- Upside Visa Prepaid Card - $2.99 monthly, $0 annual

Benefits of Prepaid Debit Cards
Owning a prepaid debit card allows you to pay bills online, use Direct Deposit for your paycheck, shop at stores, use ATM machines, and even build your credit. a prepaid credit card works like having an online checking account - your money is kept safe in an account rather than in wads of cash in your wallet. Also, just like a traditional checking account, your money is FDIC insured up to $250,000.
No credit check credit and debit cards help people with bad credit history or credit score build a credit history. When you pay your bills using the credit card's free online bill pay option, these payments are reported to PRBC, a consumer credit reporting agency that reports credit activity normally ignored by the big credit bureaus.

Is the Christchurch earthquake why all the retail stores in Newmarket seem to be having distress sales/closing down?
I have not used prepaid debit cards. I worked for a credit union for 5 years and I do believe something should be done about the fees, but the issuers will just find other ways to recoup profits the way credit card companies have.
I love Fight Club and it had a nice message at the end. I hate Credit Card companies.
Then write the check. People who write free software have to eat and pay bills too. If you pay them, then they are more likely to have time to write the software you seem to be expecting.
Prepaid debit cards work for that purpose, don't they? It's probably just another complication that Valve doesn't want to deal with (faked gift card codes, stolen cards, etc.).
Never forget that this isn’t a romantic fantasy, it’s the most serious legal contract and heavy financial risk you’ll ever undertake. Clear the wishful stars out of your eyes, calculate the costs/benefits, and draw up a prenup that (as Chateau denizen Doug1 has always recommended) mimics the effect of a living-together arrangement in the event of marriage dissolution.
Why not simply legalize theft by banks and credit card companies.
I have figured out some new points from your web-site about personal computers. Another thing I have always believed is that computers have become an item that each residence must have for several reasons. They provide convenient ways in which to organize homes, pay bills, go shopping, study, listen to music and even watch tv series. An innovative way to complete many of these tasks is by using a notebook computer. These computer systems are mobile ones, small, robust and easily transportable.
Hipster is not a profession. Life isn't about pleasure. You get a job, pay bills until you die. As a musician, all I can say is get and keep a good day job. Unless you can hold the attention of whomever for guaranteed X amount of time, you're shooting yourself in the foot.
Wow, these are serious explanations about the prepaid debit cards fees! I have known about that Kardashian Kard, and knowing about it at the very first time, I know it won’t really work. No wonder it got canceled.
prepaid debit cards have a service fee, like for $25 it charges you an extra $4, but ive noticed that specific gift cards (itunes, psn) dont charge fees just the face(?) value
If you don't pay bills to AT&T I think you should be OK. The entire country pretty much runs through AT&T's infrastructure at some point.
Yes, you have to be really careful that you don't do something to prejudice yourself. The credit card companies don't worry about being nice.
Retailing consists of the sale of goods or merchandise from a fixed location, such as a department store, boutique or kiosk, or by post. Technically grocery stores are considered a form of retail but in American slang, "retail stores" or "working in retail" almost exclusively refers to shops that sell clothing and non-food items like makeup, toys or books.
They have retail stores already… Just not as many as Apple.

>I'm presuming you're still in high school and never have to pay bills (and/or have never possessed more than a couple hundred dollars of your own). You think so? Because I have $250k in the bank, all money I've made myself in the past 5 years. How about you?
Well, I am not certain the context of the quotation, however:
1) He could have been praising his white mother for not wanting to be a burden to her family.
2) He was seeking to use the magic words, "Mother", "Cancer", "Dying", "medical care" to garner the emotional rage that his followers seek.
As to why he just did not pay the bill --- Well, he is a liberal and liberal NEVER pay a bill with their money --- they pay bills with their childrens and grandchildren's money or demand under force that their friends and neighbors pay their bills.
Social security poses no financial risk to the US government. If and when the trust fund runs out the payouts will simply be reduced
My opinion is that insurance should not be considered an investment or a windfall generation tool. Insurance is evening out surprises. If you can self-insure, then you don’t need insurance. You can self insure for example if are retired, have paid off the house, and have enough in the bank to cover your living expenses — probably if you die then the survivor will not be at financial risk. However, if your family needs your income to survive then you need insurance to replace the income.
i seriously can't stand people who work in retail stores.... they act like they're better than you because they WORK there. what a !
In a market with rising or even stable real estate prices, of course, there would be investors buying the poorly-maintained properties, doing significant repairs, and selling. But with prices falling or uncertain, the financial risk isn’t worth it.
Not really. I can make money transfers, pay bills, charge my pre-paid, etc etc all in an ATM
Yes. Yes. Yes. I have always thought we were wasting great spaces above the retail stores downtown--a little mystique, a little "glamour," just plain away from "home." Additionally, most small towns lack, and are now scrambling to try to get, affordable housing. Rehab-ing downtown spaces should be much more economical. And they have all that character!
the retail stores I have worked out cannot do that because then they are out money. Wouldn't that be illegal since it did not belong to the store?
