What does it mean if you get a lot of credit card offers in the mail?

What kind of credit score must you have to be getting a lot of credit card offers in the mail? a pretty good credit score at least? What kind of score do you think it is?
Just wondering because a lot of them have come, and I do not want to check the credit score, but what do you think, could it be pretty good?

We have always obtained my personal cost-free credit reports with the following certain spot. Has certainly not failed me!

it means you exist. everyone gets a lot.

It has nothing to do with your score. you just fall into the sort criteria to get put on the mailing lists. you can end up on a mailing list sold to credit card companies if you subscribe to a particular magazine, or fill out some kind of questionnaire. If you actually try to apply for those cards, you may find out that your credit isn't good enough for that offer and end up with a much leser account or completely turned down.

CreditKarma.com offers a free score estimator based on your TransUnion report. It's not FICO but within 50 points or so. good enough if you are curious about your score.

It means you got on some kind of junk mailing list somewhere.

All of my daughters started getting inundated with credit card offers the month they turned 18. Now that cards have tightened up on their requirements a little, that may not happen, but you must have met some sort of mass mailing criteria somewhere recently.

Equifax’s credit services come with an Interactive Score Estimator that can help you analyze how your credit would be affected by different situations. You might find the estimator useful if you’re on the verge of applying for a car loan, mortgage, or other line of credit.

Yeah, I'm already using that in the background as the final sort criteria, for that exact reason. But I think I might show it on the page as well, it's kind of nice to see when someone came up with (or at least when they uploaded) a solution anyway.

I think you should have a fourth sort criteria. I look at others people's solutions, and if better than mine, I may copy their solutions and try to improve on them. If I fail to improve it, I am left with a copy and when I upload the save file for another reason, my copy will get put on the leader board. For this reason, you should have a (hidden?) fourth sort criteria of date uploaded. The first one to upload the best solution should be #1.
