I never said you said eirigi was reactionary. Nor did I say that eirigi was the only show in town. In fact I recognized that there were many more pressing matters at hand for the people that frequent this site. Having read my post you know this but nonetheless still chose to imply that I was upset that eirigi didn’t get more attention.

visa actually prohibits merchants from charging a surcharge for processing their cards. cash discounts are fine, but if they add a fee or something for using a visa they're in violation of the terms of their contract with their credit card processing company. you can find more info and report violating merchants here:

    5. Credit Cards/Debit Cards. -credit is for suckers, check cards make it easier to track expenses.

In the case of the Detroit examples, more an indictment on the condition of that entire city than the record store business. Those shops looked like they've been closed since Al Kaline retired.

These HOGGS at best only have a chance to sell off half their PORK LADEN bodies to a Meat Processing Company so that they can fill up their gas tank and make it to the next city in ruins….

In the meantime, Prime Minister SILENCE Stuart, now confronted with YET ANOTHER POLITICAL OWN-GOAL, namely this Kellman/Lowe fiasco, continues the most remarkable activity so far, of this DLP Government’s near four-year tenure ….. Touring and Photo Opportunities! Saw him last night on CBC DLP TV, addressing the awards ceremony of a private company, and not saying much really. But, NOTHING, ZILCH, NADA, NUTTIN, NUTTIN, AT ALL ….. on important and pressing matters concerning this nation.

There is no way that any merchant account provider would allow you to sign up and start charging customers in 5 minutes like Stripe lets you.

However, I think we should shift our focus to much more important and pressing matters that affect those on British soil, and away from some distant, far-away hypothetical scenario.

Though I do agree there much more pressing matters in the world but again - not really the players responsibility.

I've only ever had it happen to those hotel keys that are in the form of credit cards. Never anything else.

It could be the end of bitcoins. Just use credit cards. There are no viruses that steal those numbers. Credit card numbers never get stolen. /s

I own and operate a retail toy store business with three locations in California. Business is good, our customers are terrific, the weather is awesome and I enjoy my life very, very much. I’ve been doing this for about 12 years now.

This is so so old. They went on about this when i was in highschool. Of course when you look back in time you can see the "clear sign of phrophecy" has changed quite a bit. To my fundie neighbors when i was a kid credit cards where the mark of the beast, before that social security cards where. and during ww2 im sure the tattoos on the concentration camp people where the mark.

Also, the owner is applying for the licquor license in his name. It’s hard for me to believe that the owner bought the business, fixed it up, and then decideds to suddenly enter the liquor store business. It is a huge career change going from a landlord, to being a inner-city liquor store operator!
