The requirements are the same as for a personal card.
In fact what you would get would be a personal card. Depending on who you get it from you may be able to get one that reads something like:
"John Smith DBA Carpets by Smith "
So the question is why bother? just open an additional account and use that card for all of your business purchases.

The main reason, in my opinion, is the banks have made it much harder to fund business purchases so buyers don’t have access to funds.
Getting there, however… Well, few countries have managed to overcome that. You have to wonder if opening up all sectors of the Mexican economy to foreigners will have the triple-effect of increasing choice (less costs for consumers and business purchases) away from the domestic oligopolies, get more sectors involved in exporting, and build up sector skills and infrastructure.

I've had a business card account since Feb 2007, no problems at all. Indeed when the new credit card reform went through my personal card went from 6.99% to 17.99% overnight, with an opt out of course. However my business card remained at 8.9% and still is. Same company for both.
This is interesting. I've read that there is a certain percentage of available credit that is "good" to be in use. I wonder if the credit report can be gamed by paying any excess percentage off before the billing statement? I've been paying business expenses on my personal card lately, and it usually makes my bills significantly higher than what might be considered ideal.
