I have a small business and wish to take credit cards for in person and internet sales. I am looking for one that offers free printing terminals and no penalty for termination. please only answer if you know.

Up here in the land of ice, snow, Scouts and Braves (Thanks Walt), we have motorcycle dealers going out of business in droves. Several long time (80+ years) dealers in Toronto have bankrupted. Why? They can’t or won’t compete with the internet sales houses from the US. Recently, I was quoted $290 for a pair of tires “ON SALE” from a local dealer. I bought them online for $200 including shipping. A lot of new and used bikes are being purchased in the US and imported. Yes, money talks, eh?
Yeah the free printing ended when they revealed the shirt, I think.
Small business are more burden by government regulations and paper work than taxes and want an administration that will provide weak enforcement, which they hope they will get from McCain. No matter what he says McCain is not going to be able to get the Bush tax cuts extended with a congress controlled by Democrats. I suspect they pay much lower taxes than wage workers with equivalent incomes because they have many ways to hide income which most of us don't.

AFAIK, the bill won’t be just for Internet sales. The media is focused on that because the focus is on Amazon.
This is the equivalent of small local papers being given hundreds of free printing presses.
I actually work at Gelman as well, which basically means I get free printing. We could possibly work something out here.

Why don't you use it for a start-up? Find a market you like and see if you can make a business out of it. If you make it then you have a career with your own business, if not then you learned a lesson and spent your money on something worth while and not something trivial. Just my opinion, i know most small business fail. But a lot of that is because people build stupid things in bad locations. You can easily build a successful business with that budget. Just takes research and location, location, location.
